About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi, I am Malaysian and my wife is Vietnamese. We will be travelling to Vancouver, Canada with stopover/transit in HongKong going and travelling back from Vancouver (2 days). During the long transit/stopover, we would like to do some sightseeing in HongKong. Do I need a visa? Does my vietnamese wife need a visa? If so - what type of visa is appropriate for her?

You don't need a visa, but your wife have to apply for a transit visa for your transit in HK.
