About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I am a US citizen who will be visiting my sister who lives in HK. I want to go to Bejing for a short visit and was told I need a Visa to do that. What is the most efficient way to do that? How do I find out the closest embassies (Chinese?) to Phila.?

You can apply for the visa from the Hk SAR when you are there.
