Are we allowed to hold pandas at Chengdu's panda base?

Yes, you can. But it's said that tourists are asked to pay for that. Around CNY 1000 for holding the panda and CNY 400 for touching the panda. It's very expensive, I think. But still many overseas tourists would like to pay for that. Especially, the Janpanese tourists like to hold pandas.

It's quite normal that you have to pay to hold a panda... otherwise they would never be in peace...
