About:China Eastern Airlines

I will be travelling to Vancouver in August 2009 which I guess it will transit from shanghai. Could you please let me know whether I will be needing a visa for just transit. I am holding a British Passport. I am a Hong Kong ID card holder.

The transit passengers who hold onward tickets do not require a visa provided that they stay in the transit area and depart within 24 hours. I saw this page providing more relevant information:
