We want to see the solar eclipse from Jinshen on 22nd July, but I can not find anywhere to stay there online. How can I get there by public transport from Shanghai Hongkou district and how long would it take?

Hi Jude, not very sure about where Jinshen is. Is it the Jinshen Town in Anhui Province? So, you would like to know the transportation from Shanghai to Jinshen? A little confused~ Why don't you see the solar eclipse in Shanghai? The best observe station on July 22 is Shanghai according to the report.

Haven't found any hotel information in the town. Actually, you could look for a hotel when you arrive there. Usually, there will be several 3-star hotels in these small towns in China.

As for transportation, it is suggested that you hire a taxi to drive you there since the public transportation may be complicated~
