About:Hong Kong Travel

Hi,

I am planing a trip to Hong Kong during the mid of August for 4 days. My plan is to take a ferry from Macau to Hong Kong. I think the port that the ferry will be at Tsim Sha Tsui, HK. Please advise me how to get from that port to (Metropark Hotel Causeway Bay Hong Kong). Cheapest way would be great.

I would like to visit Ocean Park, and Victoria Peak as well, so the cheapest way to get from the hotel to the park and the peak would be great, also how to get back as well. Not sure if I can take the same route back, not knowing how the bus or tram work over there. I heard that there is a bus at Central that go to OCEAN PARK AND THE PEAK. Not sure if that's true.

I wasn't able to find much places to eat around that hotel. Any suggestions for decent places and prices to eat around there (breakfast, lunch and dinner?)

Much Thanks to all,

James

The cheapest way from China Hong Kong City Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui to the hotel. When you arrive, please walk down to the Star Ferry Pier, just takes about 10~15 minutes. Then, take the star ferry to Wan Chai Ferry Terminal. The fare is just 2.3/2.5HK$ per adult.

Arrive at Wan Chai, you could walk to the west to the HK Convention & Exhibition Center. Here, the Metropark Hotel supplies free shuttle bus for their guests. As for the free bus, you'd better contact with the hotel in advance to make sure its running time and stop.

2. To the Peak, at the Tin Hau bus station just 2 minutes from the Hotel, the bus No.15B could take you to the Peak directly. The fare is 9.6HK$ per adult.

To the Ocean Park, you could take the MTR from Tin Hau and then get off at Admiralty. The fare is 4.4HK$ per adult. Then, you could take the bus No.629 to the Ocean Park directly with a fare of 10.6HK$.

Please purchase an Octopus Card when you arrive in HK so that you could enjoy the discount transportation fare above~

For dining, you could find lots of good places around Causeway Bay, such as the Time Square. From the hotel to the prosperous center of Causeway Bay, it just costs u about 10 minutes on foot. Just have a try~
