About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

I have 1 year multiple entry visa, can i stay longer in china, instead of 30days allowed at once? I will travel to hongkong frequently but each time i getting back to china mainland is it consider a new 30 days which i can stayed more? Thank you

Yes, even a few hours in Hong Kong or Macau is an exit from China.

Well Joshua What kind of visa you got for 1 year ? If its like mine Family L visa instead you go to hong kong thats a lot of money anyway you can go to the PSB Public Exit & entry Department and apply for longer stay like 6 months visa as I got mine too . But if you dnt have any of your own family relatives it might be hard as you have to prove them with a letter saying why you want to stay longer and your 1 year multiple visa will be cancelled . I am married so for me its easy .
