Is it possible that, on arrival in China, we are able to procure a sim card with a local number for the use during the entire tour period.

It is easy for you to buy a sim card with local number in China. The card is usually free of charge or CNY10.00 - CNY20.00. The Charge rate is based on the package you pick. Well, please first make sure whether your cell-phone can be used in China.
