About:cd18

hi~im from malaysia,i will reach at macau on 1pm at 31 dec,isnt possible for me to reach hongkong before night? and what is the fastest way for me to go hongkong?by ferry?if by ferry isnt 24 hour service or any closing time?coz i worry for the peak season n the day is the countdown celebration for 2010 new year,i worry if anything change on the day?thanks for the help

Yes, you can make it. The fasteast way is to go by helicopter, which costs more than 2000 HKD. In fact, your time is enough and you can take airport bus to the HK-Macau Ferry terminal and catch the fery ship to Macau. This is the most common way. It is nearly operated 24/7. So, do not worry about that. Generally speaking, barely any changes. THe flights are so many.

Hong kong's winter is warm for us those who lives in North China. The average temperature in Jan is about 15C, generally 8-10C. Take a sweater with you and thin clothing inside and thicker coat. Macau is similar.
