About:

hi, we are a group of four, we plan to go to beijing via train to shanghai, does that mean we have to buy tickets from the philippines in advance? what about our ticket going back to shanghai? if booking takes 9 days in advance? we plan to go on our own no tour guide, do you think we can do it, with the language barrier?we plan to leave via HKG-MLa...we have 10 days, is that enough..pls help..im quite discouraged to push thru with the trip..thanks for any help

No,sir. You need not to buy the ticket in advance. You can buy tickets of 10 days later. As far as I know the round trip ticket is available at the Beijing Rialway stations. I think you do have the problems of language while traveling, but is will be fine. There are English versions on the sign of transportation and it is not very hard to ask help to someone can speak English more or less.
Ten days in cluding Beijing, Shanghai and Hong kong?! I think it is enough. Good Luck~
