About:Embassy & Consulates of Philippines in China

Hello and good day,

i am a Filipina and currently in Shanghai China with a multiple visa for 1 year. My work entails of traveling to China where we have a production and shipping to US buyers but i am based in Manila regional office. Now the office is closing so i applied for a job here in Shanghai and got hired. Can i process my working visa in Shanghai as i am already here and they wanted me to start soon. I do not want to loose this opportunit as looking for work in the Phils is very hard now a days. Pls advise. Thank you so much. God Bless. lOIDA

Normally, foreigners should apply the China work visa in their home country, but you can try to apply the visa from the entrExit-Entry Management Division under the Public Security because of your special situation.

HI Loida,

If you have a valid work visa normally the new company will process the transfer from your previous company to current one. Just give them all the necessary documents needed.
