About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I am an American seeking a short-term tourist visa into China. I am unable to come to the Chinese embassy between 9-12.

My questions:
1) Is it possible to make a visa appointment for another time?
2) If so, what is the best number to call, and how do I set up the appointment?

Thank you!
Matthew

You don't need to make an appointment for Chinese visa application. The office hours are 09:30-12:30, 13:30-15:00, Monday-Friday (except holidays), so you can come to the embassy during this time
