Do you know if the Residence Approval Certificate has to be obtained in my wife's hometown (Guangxi) or if we can get it in Shanghai where we plan to move? And what are the costs to obtain long time residency in China? Finally if we visit China together on a tourist visa, obtain the Residence Approval Certificate and then go to Hong Kong, can we apply for the visa in Hong Kong?
