It's really very hot. But it's not so exhausting. You can avoid geting around in the late afernoon. Just visit the city in the morning or after the sunset. It's very cool when you stay in the hotel with air conditioners.

Although this city doesn't have plenty of sunshine, you could feel muggy for its geographical location. And, please take your umbrella. If you are not very tired of the hot days, come to Chengdu in July is okay. You could go to its nearby mountains and valleys, where the days are cool and beautiful in summer>

I am in Chengdu now, just arrived. It is 23-31 degrees but that seems cool to me as I left 35 degrees behind in Hangzhou
