About:China Customs Declaration

We are planning to stay in China for more than 6 months and therefore would like to bring many food items with us. All items are processed, such as biscuits, coffee, long-life milk, dried-herbs. I also would like to bring some frozen pastry . Not sure whether these are allowed?

Could some one let me know?

It is ok, but do not take too much of them. By the way, it is easy to find such things in CHina, especially in the bif cities, do not worry, in the big supermarket, there are a lot of foreign brands, so i think you may not need to take many food items, just take some for the flight and then after you arrive in china, you can buy whatever you want.
