In Chengdu, there are 10 persons has been selected for Free Data Recovery Workshop, Free Food, Accommodation from Asia & Ocenia region. I am one of them. Next 20th July is my workshop is going to be started. I never visited outside of Bangladesh. What is the procedure to apply to the Embassy to get the visa? And what are the requirements to submit?
N.B.
1. I am still a student, so I don't have strong bank statement. Does it affect at all?
2. My passport will expire at next November, 2009. Is there any problem for that?
3. What is the plain fare to go there? Seems, I have to go Kunming by plain, and I have to catch train from there to reach Chengdu.

Just go to the embassy to apply for the visa with the requirements during the working hours (Applicants who have never been to China before should submit in person.).
I think you need a F business visa to China, os the requirements should be:
1. Valid passport (at least six months before expiration) with blank visa pages and copy of the first three pages;

2. TYPED Visa Application Form with one passport photo.

3. Original Visa Notice Form issued by authorized departments of Chinese Government.

4 Round-way air tickets and hotel reservation.

Your bank statement could prove you have enough money for your China trip, which will be ok.

The embassy requires the passport must have 6 months validity before expiration, so you need to apply the extention of your passport before the application.

As for the fare, you will get it after you get the air tickets and train tickets which are required when apply for the visa.

I am talking with the reference of this topic. The Inviter could not get the "Original Visa Notice Form issued by authorized departments of Chinese Government" still now. They might get it next Monday, and then by DHL it takes 4 days - in this process I will miss the workshop, now how can I get the VISA without this paper?
