I found some information about the Shanghai bullet trains on the web. It says the bullet trains are equipped with the toilets for the handicapped. My friend also tells me the exits of the bullet train lead to the platform directly. That's to say, no ladders baffle you. Chinese people are friendly. It's likely some passengers would like to help you. What's more, the conductor just stand out of the exit. He or she can help you out.
