About:Zhongshan Travel

can anyone tell me which route to get to Zhingshan from Ireland or the UK? The one i'm going with for the moment is Belfast, UK (northern Ireland) to Guangzhou and bus to Zhongshan City, but am checking if there is a faster way as this will take 22 hours.

From Uk, you can land to Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. The flight from Belfast to Guangzhou is the longest among the four. However, when you arrive Guangzhou, it is quite easy to go to zhongshan city. If you land to Hong Kong, beijing or shanghai, you need to change another flight to Guangzhou and then take a bus to zhongshan. Actually the time is more or less the same. But the way chose is the most convenience one. Enjoy your journey!

hi, fly direct to h.k. catch the express train from airport to kowloon 20 minutes.
then the free shuttle to china ferries terminal. 10 min.
ferry h,k to zhongshan 1.and a half hours. leaves every 2 hours. sit in window seat
to view h.k.
taxi from zhonghan to ?
its a breeze, and in h.k everyone will assist.
china now thats a different story.

I travel this route pretty regulary. Take late flight from LHR to HK which gets in about 1730 or so, by the time you get your bags and through passport control you can take the airport express to Kowloon and grab a taxi to China HK ferry and catch the 8pm ferry to Zhongshan. There is a route from Dublin - CDG - Guangzhou which can knock a few hours off the travel time if cost isn't a problem.

Mr Devlin, Can you tell which company flies from dublin to CDG to guangzhou? and how much does it cost?
