I want to see the Silk Market about which we have read is near the Friend-ship Store near Jianguomen subway. What is the name of that market? Also where I can visit some tailor shops?

The one you mentioned is the famous Xiu Shui Market. There are some tailor shops in the Xiu Shui Streat. You may visit your interested one.
