Hello, I live in Chengdu and am planning on doing a bike trek from here to Gansu province. Does anyone know if this is a plausible idea? Any danger I should expect and try to avoid? the tentative plan is to travel to Zoige via Wenchuan and Songpan. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

The route to south Gansu via Songpan is available. But, badly damaged by the earthquake, I think it is still dangerous to ride along this way, especially during the current rainy season! Just for your reference~
