HI, Ms Loke! Yes, you need to have a visa and you can arrange it in advance or has an on-site one at the border to Shenzhen or Zhuhai. The visa fee is about 150HKD/35 singapore dollars. For the ferry rate: 11:5$ from Monday to Saturday. 16.8 on Sunday and public holidays and 22.5 for fast ferry servie. Good luck~
