The funds used for the Great Wall constructions was mainly from government. During the Qin and Han dynasties, the Great Wall construction was very often. A large sum of money was invested. Especially, in the Qin Dynasty, the citizens should pay for exorbitant taxes to the government because of the Great Wall construction.
