Is that a good way to travel to Xian?

Thanks Della. I don''t know the cities exact English names, but we plan to travel to the typical popular cities along the silk road, beginning with Xian, Tiansan, Lanchou,Tunhuan, end with Urumuji. We will enter China through Tianjin. I understand there is a direct train connecting Tianjin to Xian, K213, is that still correct? If yes, how much does it cost? Is that a good way to travel to Xian or should we go to Zhenchou and then Xian?

Dear Woodpecker, the direct train of Tianjin/Xian still operates and it runs from 17:12 to 11:25 in the next morning, for about 18 hours. It is about RMB282-440 Yuan per ticket for the hard sleeper berth, while RMB440-458 Yuan per ticket for the soft sleeper berth. It is the most covenient way by train from Tianjin to Xian.

As we don't arrange backpacker tours at present and seldom use 2-star hotels in our tours, I cannot provide a specific quotation for you. Hope for you kind understanding. If you need any other info, please leave us your message.
