Xiangfan is located in northwest of Hubei, south of China. It neighbors on Henan, north of China. Therefore, Xiangfan people has some living customs as the same as the northerners of China. Northerners like eating flour-cooked food. Also Xiangfan people often eat flour-cooked food, such as Zha Jiang Mian (noodles with soy bean paste and gravy), cold noodles and Niu You Mian (noodles with butter and hot pepper). Xiangfan dialect is very interesting. It sounds like Henan dialect. Xiangfan is a famous light industrial city. There are many light industrial products wholesale markets there. Many vendors go to Xiangfan to stock commodities.
