About:Shanghai Attractions

Hi!
We'll be going to Shanghai in September. We want to see the great wall which I understand, is in Beijing. Is there a way we could go to great wall via Shanghai? What is the nearest place for us to go to the great wall? How much will be the train fare? Which train station to take? We'll be staying at Holiday Inn Epress Zhabei.

Thanks a lot!

You absolutely have to be in Beijing if you want to visit the Great Wall. Most people go to Badaling, but I suggest trying Mutianyu if you want to really climb the wall (Mutianyu also has a fun slide where you can slide down the wall!). You can take a train from Shanghai to Beijing, but the Great Wall is an all day sort of event. You must stay at least a night in Beijing if you want to see the wall.
