About:Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

I would like to check is it possible to cover peak of Yulong Glazier, Yak Meadow and Spruce Meadow in one day?
I am planning to visit Lijiang & shangri la by end of September.

Well, these three scenic spots could be viewd in one day. However, the best time to the Jade Dragon Mountain should be in the summer when you could have its most beautiful faces in sunshine. Good luck~

Thank you very much for Ms French's advise. Do you think November is better than September? I found a website mentioning that Yulong mountain almost cannot be seen in the month of October. Is it true?

Hi, I think Sep. should be better, when Lijiang is in fall with blue sky and sunny days, can get good view of the mountain. It is comfortable to climb up the mountain. November may be somewhat cold. Early October is good too, but there will be too much travelers due to the long National Holiday~

I agree. I visited yulongxue shan in both Late August and Mid November. The weather and views were far more impressive in the late summer. Fog and rain obscured the views in November. However, the cool weather was well suited for the hiking we did there.
