About:Chinese Consulates in Russia

I am a UK citizen, studying in Chita on a multi-entry Russian student visa. In order to visit China, do I need to get a Chinese visa from Khabarovsk? Or is there a consulate in Irkutsk?

Also, there are many 'tour groups' from Chita to Manzhouli- could I join one of them, as a UK passport holder, or would they be for Russians only?

Thanks!

You need to get the Chinese visa from Khabarovsk. You can join the tour groups.

Thanks for the answer. I'll speak to some tour agencies here in Chita to see if they can arrange the visa via Khabaovsk.
