Pls help.My wife is an china nationlity and we married in malaysia.In June she is going back to china for 3 month and i would like to follow her and stay in china for 3 months with her and visit her family there.What visa i should apply for so that i can stay in china for 60-90days,and what document do i need to apply?thank you

Mr.John, you need apply for Family Visit Visa (L visa). You should submit your passport, one completed visa application form, round-trip air ticket and the copy of your marriage license for visa application. Please write your planned stay duration on the visa application form.

Thank you Mrs June.if i apply for 90 days will they approved my visa?Actually i have already purchase my air ticket going to china on 3/8/2009 and coming back to malaysia on the 1/9/2009 because i thought iam given only 30 days.So now iam going to purchase for another one way ticket to china on the 5/6/2009 and coming back to malaysia together with my wife on 1/9/2009.will it be ok?

For the purpose of family visit, the visa officers may grant you a visa with a duration of stay for 90 days. Remeber that you can also extend the duration of stay of your visa within the border of China.
