Is it possible to buy any kind of swords in Beijing, and get them back to the USA?  Can I get them out of the country?  I would pack them in my checked luggage.Thank youJane

Yes, you could buy one at those souvenir shops. However, you have to post it to USA at any China post office in Beijing, as for no knife is allowed to take on plane currently.
