About:China Visa

Hi! I'm Russian citizen and passport holder, living in Cambodia for 12 years. My son with his family is coming for holiday in beginning of July and we are going to visit Hong Kong. I've read that in April 2009 an agreement was signed between China and Russia about free 2 weeks tourist visa for Russians? Was this agreement implemented already or should be apply for visa?
Thank you.

The mutual visa-waiving agreement between Russia and Hong Kong was signed on April 23. The officicals said it will take 30 days to get all these things ready. Currently, the agreement is still not implemented, but it will come into effect very soon.(maybe, before the end of this month).
