About:China Travel Tips

I have my tourist visa to enter China. I want to spend 3-4 weeks travelling. I am not sure what city I will leave China from. If I buy a one-way air ticket to Beijing, can I then purchase my ticket out of China later? I may end up taking a train to Thailand or Viet Nam and not exiting by air?

You mean you will fly back from Thailand or Vietnam to the United States, right? Yes, you can purchase a ticket in Vietnam or Thailand. I know Nanning in Guangxi opens the train route to Hanoi in Vietnam. You can go from Beijing to Nanning by air or by train and then transfer to Hanoi.
