About:Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg

I am holding singapore passport and I am planning a trip to China for four to five weeks in September 2009. Since I don't need a visa for no more than 14 days' stay in China, do I have to apply a 3 months visa before I go to China or can I extend my stay when I am there?

You are planning to stay in China for four to five weeks. So you need a visa before you go to China. The visa-free period for Singaporean passport holders is only 15 days.
