About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Is it possible to a visa for a 3 month stay in China. I have a friend there and I would like to stay from June onwards.

Almost impossible to stay for 3 month with an L visa. The duration of stay of a single L visa is 30 days. Though you may extend the duration of stay after your entry, you can hardly extend the duration of stay to another 60 days without presenting special reasons.
