Hi everyone,I am visiting Beijing from 22-25 June 2009 to attend a Medical confrerence. It is at the International Convention Centre, inside Asian Games Complex. I plan to stay at the adjoining Continental Grand Hotel. Can someone guide me if how to reach there from airport, and also how to see the main attractions in the city by travelling from that place?ThanksAnant

From airport to the hotel, you could take the airport shuttle bus of Line 4 and then get off at the station of Bei Tai Ping Zhuang. From there, take the city-bus No.387, 694 or 849 to reach Anhuiqiao Bei. Your hotel is just located nearby the station. The hotel is just 20 kilometers from the airport, taking a taxi is also reasonable.For the main attraction, one is the Great Wall, you could take the city-bus No.380 from Anhuiqiao Bei to Deshengmen and then transfer to the bus No.919 which could lead you to the Badaling Great Wall directly.To the Summer Palace, take the bus of No.696.To Tian'anmen and Forbidden City, take the bus No.758, 358, 106, 850, 803..firstly and then get off at Anding Men. Transfer to the subway Line 2 which could take you to Qianmen (close to the destination).Well, your hotel is close to the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. No bus is needed~
