About:History of Silk Road

thx but what else ws invented on the slk road and why was silk and the silk road important to the development in anciet china? im having trouble finding these things.. does anyody know other good websites

The main products transported on the silk road are gun powder, compass, rare animals and birds, furs, medicine, iron implements and bijouterie, as well as some technology such as paper making and silk worm rearing.

The silk road has connected the ancient China to the western countries. The two sides transported their specilities, and China learned a lot from the outside world.
