I am planning to Hangzhou in Oct. My whole trip will be a week. May I know which are places, I should not miss besides Hangzhou. Is that Shanghai, Suzhou or others? Please advise me. Thank you.

Yes, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou are really worth visiting. One week for those three cities is just ok. I went Shaoxing but not visited Suzhou. It is a pity. If you are interested in some water towns(for example, Zhouzhuang, Tongli, Wuzhen, Xitang), they are easy of access from Shanghai. Enjoy!
