Most tourist will head for Badaling Great Wall, which is too touristic. Personally, I prefer the Huang Hua Cheng Great Wall. You can literally have the whole Great Wall to yourself, as this part of the Great Wall is not actually open to the general public. I'd scaled many wild Great Wall (including Badaling), and found that this is one of the unique Great Wall and rather accessible from Beijing.
