About:Wenshu Monastery (Manjushri Monastery)

Is there a bus from Chengde that goes to Datong, so that one does not has to make a time-consuming stop-over in Beijin first?

NO. You should make a transfer at Shijiazhuang or Beijing. Many of us would like to take train to the place via Beijing.

Thank you Mr Qi. I'll be in Chengde the first days of June (after 4 days in Beijing) and then I will travel to Daton, thus probably changing trains in Beijing again. Thank you very much for your help! Xixi
