Hi i am eyrique i just bought a return ticket to china for a 2 week trip... the thing is that my passports expires in july but i a travelling 12 may to 25 may...however i just found there is a problem that u require a 6 months extra validity for the application of the chinese visa... what should i do...i dont mind getting another passpot but will the number be the same as the one in my flight ittenaries?

There is the possibility that you can renew your passport by still use the visa proved on your old passport pages. I am not sure if the passport number will be the same as the previous one. You just tell the consular officers your scenario.
