Me and my daughter will be visiting hongkong and we want to visit china too but i wonder if we can apply for visa to china while we are in hongkong or do we need to apply here in the philippines for visa to china?

It is ok for you to apply for China visa at either of the two places.

philippine passport holder who wants to apply a china visa in hong kong and never been to china yet cannot get the visa in hong kong. You need to apply the visa here in the philippines. I thought that before that I can get the visa to LOWU border or in Wan chai but they told me to go back in Manila and apply for china visa.
