About:Changchun

I have a valid "1 year multiple entry" visa to China until October 2009 but my passport will need to renew in this month for my next traveling in May. Can I proceed to China by holding my old passport with the valid visa ? Please reply as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

As long as your visa and passport are still valid, there should be no problem for your entry into China.

Dear Mrs Lewis,
Thank you for your prompt.
May i know if you are from the china embassy ? I need to know this because I am still uncomfortable.
Some sources told me that i can but on the other hand, some sources told me that i cannot travel with 2 passports. Unless there is a confirmation from the china embassy. However, my situation here is "I have no time to go to china embassy because the china embassy will close for 1 week for the labour day holiday."
I am still in China and will be back on 29th April. Need to renew my passport on 30th April. Then the embassy close for 1 week from 1st May onwards. My next trip to China is on 4th May 2009.
Please confirm again. Thanks
