About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

HI, I am Canadian citizen, and I would like get a China VISA for my travel to Hong Kong and China this month. Do I have to come in person? What do I need to bring?

You don't have to apply in person. For applying for a Chinese tourist visa, you need to submit the following documents:
1. Your recent passport-sized photo affixed to a duly filled application form
2. Valid passport with at least six month validity left before expiration and at least one blank visa page left
3.Proof of hotel reservation and round-trip tickets may be required by visa officers.
