About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I have a China friend who's passport will be expiring in June. Does she have to change it? How long will it take and how much is the cost? Please help and reply ASAP. Thanks!

She is supposed to renew the passport if she plans to apply for a visa for whatever countries. Generally, to apply for a visa, the passport must have at least 3 months.
