The birth of modern technology and industry produced many modern industry products which took the place of traditional Chinese products. For example, the tin-coated mirrior born in Venice has replaced the traditional Chinese bronze mirror. And generally, the products traded in the silk road were ignored which caused the decline of the silk road.
