About:Embassy & Consulates of Philippines in China

Hi! I'm a Filipino staying here in china with a working visa. My contract will end this summer and I decide not to renew my contract, instead I plan to go to Romania to stay with my fiance. The Romanian embassy told me that I could avail the visit visa (short stay visa)which lasted for 90 days and this visa could not be extended. May I therefore request assisstance from your good office to tell me how to acquire a long stay visa. My fiance and I are looking forward to get married but 3 months is a short time. Besides, I have to avail two way plane tickets, since my contract here ends i have no plan of going back here in china. Can't I just have one way plane ticket? Please help me with this matter...

I assume you should contact the Romanian embassy in Beijing. Is your wife a Romanian. There is Long Stay Visa for Foreign Citizens Married To Romanian CIitizens and long stay visa for other purpose. You can visit the site to figure out if you are eligibl:

Prepare the following documents:(from the official website of the embassy)
(1) a police report on the loss issued by the local public security and affidavit of loss undertaken by the applicant at the Philippine Embassy,
(2) photocopy of old passport, if any,
(3) three ID photos not older than six months with white background,
(4)proof of marriage for married women holding the old passports, and
(5) for others holding the old brown passport, any documents such as drivers and professional licenses, birth certificate, etc. bearing the middle name.
(6) other proofs of Filipino identity/nationality as may be required by the Consular Officer.
