About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I am 54, a Canadian citizen and would like to retire to China where I have close Chinese friends. Is this possible to arrange? Do Canadians do this?

Do you want to reside in China for a long term? For that purpose, you should apply for a Chinese residence visa. Atfirst, you should ask your friend to apply for a residence permit on your behalf at the local police department.Then you could use the residence permit to apply for a residence visa.
