About:Tips for Travelling along Silk Road

I would like to hear from someone that has done the silk road particularly from China to Europe via Tibet Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan (avoiding Afganistan Iran and Iraq) we are proposing or organising a trip from Australia to London via the Silk Road and other appropriate trade routes and would welcome hearing from someone that has done all or part of the proposed route.

Mr Horst, Did you end up doing this trip? My husband and I are wondering about taking the long and interesting route back to the UK with our 3 sons. Any personal insights would be welcome! Thanks. Kate
