On monday March 17th I dropped off a visa application to a visa service business in Ottawa. My daughter is a student in canada and applying for a visitors visa. I got a call from this business saying that no more Visa applications are being done for visiting students untill sometime in April. Is this true. I have my Visa and we are leaving for China April 6th. Your advise please, I have flights and hotels booked , my daughter really wants to see china

What type of visa are you and your daughter applying for? You have all the required documents: flights and hotel reserve. There shouldn't be any problem concerning your application for tourist visas.
