About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi,
We are Swiss citizens and we will fly to china on the 2.may. There we will join an english school for about 2 months. Actually we work in the south of Thailand. Is it possible to get a visa starting the 2. may if we will come to the embassy in Bangkok next week already? Can we get a 60 day tourist-visa afore? (Do we have to have a confirmation from the school?) Thank you, Daniela

In your case(stay in China for about 2 months), whatever type of visa you will acquire, you will possibly need to apply for a residence permit after your arrival.
