About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

I am a US citizen working in the Maldives and would like to travel to China for 2 weeks holiday.
Can I send my passport to the Chinese embassy in Columbo for a tourist visa?

Yes, you can apply for a tourist visa for China at the Chinese embassy in Columbo. The visa fee is RS.14000.
